DEVT trains Liberian students in the practical trades that build a livelihood, from computer science and tailoring to plumbing, electrical work, and catering, taught by working instructors in Clara Town, Bushrod Island.
Beyond the classroom
Each year, students take what they're learning directly into the community through Ducor Service Month, a series of service initiatives fully funded by DEVT's Founder. Together, they've provided free hot meals to public school students, apron sets to market women, and detergent donations to the Clara Town Health Center, Marvii Sonii Public School, and area mosques and churches, along with free cosmetology services, reaching more than 1,300 residents of District #14 and other parts of Monrovia.

Computer fundamentals, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, professional typing, and internet navigation.
Defensive driving, road and traffic signs, and understanding vehicle parts.
Hair braiding and treatment, pedicure, facial, manicure, nails, makeup, hair installation.
Sewing machine operation, cutting and sewing techniques, measuring, and an introduction to fashion design.
Residential and industrial indoor/outdoor plumbing, and sewer management.
Core residential electrical systems and safe practice.
